Strawberry Hill Landscaping is a full-service landscape company proudly serving Dover and the surrounding communities. Family-owned and community-rooted, we bring decades of hands-on experience to every property we care for. Today, our work is supported by a dedicated team of more than twenty employees who are energetic, skilled, and genuinely enjoy what they do.

From large estates to modest homes that need a little extra attention, we approach every landscape with the same level of care, professionalism, and respect.

Our Story

It started with a Dodge station wagon and a few mowers.

Strawberry Hill Landscaping was founded in the 1970s by Jeremiah Cronin, with a simple commitment to honest work and well-cared-for land. John Devine joined the company as one of its first employees while still a teenager, learning the craft from the ground up, and eventually taking ownership in the late 1980’s. Over the years, John has worked on hundreds of properties, gaining deep experience across landscapes of every size and style.

As the company grew, so did its reputation. Today, Strawberry Hill has evolved into a trusted landscaping company with a full fleet of trucks and the resources to meet a wide range of client needs—while staying true to its roots.

Leadership & Team

Strawberry Hill Landscaping is owned and operated by the Devine family of Dover, MA. John Devine and his family grew up in the community and remain active members today, bringing a strong sense of local pride and accountability to the business.

Our extended family includes a team of more than twenty employees—from managers and crew chiefs to hands-on laborers—each playing a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency our clients expect. Everyone on our team shares the same core values: dedication, courtesy, and fairness.
